I'm Haadiyah,
nice to meet you.
I have always been fascinated by the intersection of psychology and design, and how they can work together to create meaningful and engaging digital experiences. That is why I pursued a BSc Honours in Counseling Psychology from Middlesex University, where I gained a deep understanding of human behavior, cognition, and emotions.
My goal is to become a UX designer who can apply my psychological knowledge and UX skills to create user-centric and empathetic digital solutions that resonate with people on a profound level. I am eager to learn from experienced UX professionals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to impactful projects that make a difference in the world.
What I've been working on
I am currently working on the development of an Islamic app with a dual focus on entertainment and the facilitation of religious practises. This application will have incorporated gaming elements and the reinforcement of Islamic practices. Conceptualized as a on-the-go companion, the application is designed to assist users in maintaining their commitment to the five pillars of Islam—Shahada, Salah, Zakah, Sawm, and Hajj—simultaneously providing an enjoyable and interactive experience.
What I'm curious about
I'm always up for a good challenge and love diving into different creative outlets like art, sewing, painting, and coding. This openness for learning keeps me on my toes and, surprisingly enough, it's been a game-changer in my UX design and iteration journey. I'm naturally curious and always game for trying out new things—it's just my way of keeping things interesting!
